Spring Clean Your Health Series TIP 9: Toxins, Clearing the Clutter

Thieves Household Cleaner

Hi Friends,

Welcome to Tip 9 of our Spring Clean Your Health series. This week’s focus is Toxins: Clearing the Clutter inside and out — a simple but powerful step toward creating a healthier home for you and your family. After a recent health scare triggered by an external stimulus, this has become a deeply personal priority for me. Let’s dive in!

Every day, we’re exposed to chemicals through cleaning products, skincare, fragrances, and even the air in our homes & gym. While we can’t avoid everything, small, intentional swaps can make a huge difference.

Here’s where to begin:

  1. Simplify your cleaning routine. Switch out harsh sprays and synthetic cleaners for low-tox alternatives. I use Thieves Household Cleaner, a plant-based, cost effective essential-oil powered alternative that’s gentle, effective, and toxin-free. We’ll be exploring this product together at our upcoming workshop (details below)!

  2. Explore low-tox energy support. Consider alternatives to coffee, juice and sugary energy drinks, we will be sampling NingXia Red at our upcoming workshop for those interested. It is a delicious, antioxidant-rich drink and my favourite low-tox alternative which provides me with natural energy, immunity, and whole-body wellness.

  3. Be kind to your skin. Choose low-aluminium deodorants, fragrance-free soaps, and skincare with minimal ingredients. Your skin absorbs what you apply — keep it nourishing and gentle.

  4. Read the labels. Look for short, simple ingredient lists you can recognise and pronounce. Research, Research, Research and remember, less is more.
