Spring Clean Your Health Series TIP 7 Mind: What am I Feeding My Mind?

Lady nourishing her mind with positive lifestyle habits and thought

Hi Friends,

Welcome to Tip 7 of our Spring Clean Your Health Series — today we’re turning our focus inward to the Mind, as we consider What am I feeding my mind?

Just like the body, the mind becomes what it consumes. The content we read, the conversations we have, and the people we spend time with all shape how we think, feel, and act. A healthy mind supports a strong, resilient body — it’s all connected.

Here are some ways to “spring clean” your mental space and feed your mind with what truly nourishes it:

  1. Check your inputs. Pay attention to what you watch, read, and scroll through each day. Does it motivate, inspire, and educate you — or drain your energy? Swap negative noise for content that uplifts and grows you.

  2. Choose your circle wisely. Surround yourself with people who encourage, challenge, and bring out your best. A positive environment feeds confidence and purpose.

  3. Feed growth, not comparison. Instead of measuring yourself against others, get curious. Ask, “What can I learn from this?” Growth happens when we shift from judgment to learning.

  4. Practice daily stillness. Meditation, prayer, or simply taking a few deep breaths can help quiet the mind and restore balance. Just five minutes of mindfulness can reset your entire day.

  5. Protect your mental diet. Like junk food for the body, toxic thoughts and conversations weigh you down. Be intentional with what you allow in.

Your mind is a garden — and what you plant will grow. Choose to feed it with optimism, gratitude, and wisdom, and watch how your energy, focus, and outlook transform.

Think well,

Monique
